I inherited my mother’s passion for photography, despite many momentary interruptions while I was playing to pose for her Kodak Brownie.

As a husband and father of my own children now, I appreciate her wisdom and the value of capturing an essence of living, memories, and stories. Images document our descent into life, capturing fleeting moments and become a record not only of the expression of the artist who records it, but particularly of the participants, and how they coexist in a singular moment in relation to the world around them.
I believe in serendipitous moments and strive to extract participants from the morass of the mundane and project them into a story of their own making, where family and friends, strangers and observers can engage and decide what story the image is telling.
